Each respectable microphone needs a pop filter that will get rid of all the plosive

Edis. The frame one can be attached to the stand and placed between you and
the microphone, and the foam one can be put directly on it. Your friends will
thank you a thousand. Aside from that, you also get a shock mount so that any
vibrations from the desk are not carried over.
