Swifty small
Forget all that discussion about size – Emote 2000S is a handy package ripping
at the seams with great tech solutions. It's easy to assemble, lets you customize
a lot, and easily fits into your backpack or your laptop bag.
Two modes
Recording all by yourself? Set Emote 2000S to cardioid characteristics, so it
picks up the signal in front of it. Going live with someone else in the room? Set it
to omnidirectional characteristics and invite your guests to record a podcast. The
mode can be toggled with a simple switch in the back of the microphone.
Monitor on the go
Sometimes installing a listening channel for your recording stem is a lot of work
in software like OBS. Not this time, though. Emote 2000S has been provided
with an audio output that provides instant monitoring. Just plug your
headphones’ jack in and you can tell straight away if you need to get a little
closer, or maybe it’s better to spare the listener’s ears.
Signal control
Quick setup access is useful in many different scenarios. The clickable knob on
Emote 2000S’s casing lets you control two parameters, namely volume and gain.
The first one determines how much output signal is delivered. The other decides
how much signal boost is there while retrieving sound.
Mega-mobility
Emote 2000S is compact and easy to carry around, so you can keep it by your
side. What's more, if your smartphone (or other mobile device) supports OTG
USB, you can connect a microphone using the USB-C connector and thus record
interviews, blogs or podcasts with good audio quality.
Choose your filter
It’s not all of Emote 2000S’s versatility. The product package includes two types
of protective filters. When you're recording in the comfort of your home, mount
a pop filter to avoid recording all the "pops" and "pows". If you take the mic out
(or record in a drafty environment) you can put a protective foam on it instead
and stop worrying about additional hums and noises.
